Le Piane Piane 2017

Croatina is a difficult grape because the tannins ripen very late. So Christoph decided not to harvest until they are fully ripe. The grapes from these old vines are of course lower in acidity and higher in sugar, making this soft, powerful tasting wine somewhat reminiscent of Amarone.
