Gagliole Chianti Classico Riserva 2018

A new wine from Gagliole! This Riserva comes from 100% Sangiovese harvested at the Vigna Grande in Panzano's Conca d'Oro. Another top wine with both volume and elegance, Gagliole appears to be on top form, bringing some of Tuscany's finest wines.

Vinous: "The 2018 Chianti Classico Riserva is a new wine in this range. It is made from vineyards in Panzano that formerly belonged to Le Cinciole and that neighbor Gagliole. Dark and ample in the glass, the Riserva shows the breadth of Panzano's Conca d'Oro district, but in the more restrained style that is typical of the year. I would give it a few years in bottle to soften, as the contours are a bit angular today."
