Domaine Michel Noëllat Vosne-Romanée 1°cru Les Suchots 2020

"Les Suchots" borders Grand Cru "Échézeaux" to the north and Grand Cru's "Richebourg" and "Romanée-Saint-Vivant" to the south. The domain's 1.8ha cover just about the entire slope, making it perhaps the most typical Suchots! Over 70-year-old vines, manual harvest, short cold maceration and long cuvaison of 18 to 20 days with remontage and daily pigeage, followed by 16 months of ageing in 50% new oak barrels. A top wine, slightly richer and less direct perhaps than "Beaux-Monts".
