Domaine Jean Fournier Marsannay Es Chezots 2016

Es Chezots ligt wat hoger op de helling in de "Combe" en is daardoor iets koeler, meer geventileerd. Een erg geparfumeerde wijn met een neus van rode besjes en wilde aardbeien en een zweem van rozen. Een mooie, halfvolle smaak met wat spanningen een vleug tannine op de afdronk.

Neal Martin: "The 2015 Marsannay Es Chezots displayed more red than black fruit on the nose: cranberry jus, hints of pomegranate filtering through subtle, earthy aromas. The palate is well balanced with a brittle texture on the entry. There is impressive tension interwoven throughout this Marsannay, though at the moment it feels very tight and a little brisk on the saline finish. Give this a couple of years once in bottle.”
