Product Details

Corvina, Corvinone, Rondinella and Molinara grapes sourced from the Monte Sant'Urbano vineyard are dried for 3 to 4 months and after fermentation, the wine matures for another 60 months in small oak barrels.
Paolo Creazzi owns barely 4.5ha in Fumane, in the heart of Valpolicella Classico. These are classic Valpolicellas and Amarones, ranging from wonderfully open and fruity to full-bodied and intensely spicy, but all remarkably pure vinified. Still little known, but in some Decanter tastings they made their mark and came out among the region's absolute best! The Amarone Riserva even scored as the best wine, ahead of wines from domains like Allegrini, Dal Forno, Bussola, Tedeschi, Monte del Frà, Masi, etc., all wines with different price tags!

Jancis Robinson: "Deep Beef-stock and roasted-bone-marrow smell. Juniper. Clenched and concentrated and very dark but there is a seam of pine-needle freshness that runs though the wine from start to finish, bringing the most incredible energy. It's like watching a rugby prop dance, beautifully. Thyme and damsons build into the finish. Long, persistent, nudging you into loving it. Wonderful wine. " 17,5/20
